Elliot Drew Quartet The Yardbird Jazz Club Saturday 16th March 3pm

Elliot Drew is a jazz saxophonist, composer and band leader currently based in Birmingham. Currently in his final year at the Birmingham Conservatoire, Elliot is currently preparing for a tour with his quartet in February/March 2013. Led by alto saxophonist Elliot Drew, the quartet features young Birmingham-based musicians who met at the Birmingham Conservatoire. The emphasis of the band is to create a high-energy and contrasting programme of original compositions combined with jazz standards and other contemporary compositions.
